Tom Boykin is a full-time freelancer in the world of sound for TV/Film in Los Angeles. Two months after moving to Los Angeles with an unrelated degree in music he was editing sound for shows on GSN, TLC, TruTV, Fox Reality, Discovery, and other networks. On Compulsions, Tom had the very rare opportunity to provide both production sound and post production sound, shaping the project’s sound from start to finish.
Even though Compulsions is a web series, post production sound was approached from a cinematic angle (with Foley, VO, ADR, Dialogue/FX editing, and mixes for both DVD and Web).
