Dark Web Series Immerses Viewers Into the Secretive and Violent Lives

of Seemingly Ordinary People

LOS ANGELES - December 1, 2009 - Compulsions, an original episodic thriller produced for the Web, premieres today exclusively onDailymotion.com. This dark, high suspense and violent Web series explores three seemingly “normal” people who act on their darkest desires. It is the first independently produced original series released by Impulsive Productions LLC. New episodes will run every weekday starting today through December 10, 2009 for an eight episode season.

Compulsions offers the tone of Dexter©, the suspense of Prison Break© and the darkness of the Sopranos©. Mark Sandler, who holds a dull desk job during the day, is a professional sadist at night. His best friend and colleague, Justine Davis, is a sweet-appearing innocent blonde who can pistol-whip like the pro she is. And then there’s Mark Sandler’s co-worker Cassandra Morrissey, a diligent hard-working IT geek who is an unrepentant voyeur, using her IT skills to spy on employees at home and work – including Mark. And don’t expect a tidy ending to season one. These characters are just getting started!

The Cast and Crew

The Compulsions cast includes well-known Web series stars, including Craig Frank (The Crew, Private High Musical), Annemarie Pazmino(Sorority Forever) and Taryn O’Neill (After Judgment, Hurtling Through Space). Also appearing are newcomers Janna Bossier, Seth Caskey, andSean Spence.

Compulsions was written and created by Bernie Su.  Contributing talent includes veteran producer Robert Grand, as well as American Film Institute graduates Nathan Atkinson (Director), Michael Tohl (Producer), Jason Raswant (Cinematographer), Michael Darrow (Editor), andRachel Payne (Production Designer).
